Another beautiful auburn and amber-eyed female Turkish Van who won five Imperial Grand Certificates in 2007
is IGr Ch Akdamar Semaviruya who is owned and bred by club member Joyce Johnson.
 


Tansdale Tammuz (13w od) is owned by Marianne Upham.
 He was one of the first white kittens to be registered as a Turkish Vankedisi



Autumn 2009 and Tammuz now a mature adult, shares his life with

Marianne says they are inseparable


Tansdale Indigo Moon (13w bl) was  bred by Suzann Lloyd and has stayed with her.
He too has achieved Merits at all the shows he has entered.
Indi was the first Vankedisi to obtain Four Merits.

Winner of Class 1- Turkish Delight
was Tiger Lily who lives with Stella Stocker in Surrey

     

The Chocolate Box Winner of Class 2
 was this delightful photo of 3 kittens which also won at the TVCC Photo Show. It was taken by Alex Wake of her first litter of Turkish Van x Turkish Vankedisi.

This is of a litter of four playful Plumetails kittens.

 

     
Class 4 Maids of Honour had an overseas winner with Janneke Tanrioven's lovely White Odd-eyed girl from the Netherlands. Ozgur's Hurrem Sultane is the first white Van Kedisi to win a Best in Show for the World Cat Federation.  

     

 Class 5 Flapjacks was won by Alex Wake with a great picture of her kittens climbing the Christmas tree.

 

     

 

And finally, another picture which raised a few laughs.

Ania Ake from the USA sent many delightful photos and this was one of the most popular though it was not placed. It shows one of her sons, Adam, being helped by a Turkish friend.
